Dr Michelle Alden
I am passionate about helping YOU parent your kids that are hard to raise (and who challenge you and your parenting skills). I have a big heart for kids, especially those who are often overlooked or misunderstood. I know this first-hand, as I was once a hurt child, separated from my siblings and later adopted. I believe that a child's family is key in restoring hope and safety and resolving past hurts and disappointments. I believe it can always get better, and I want you to experience the changes as you learn to build a bridge to better behaviors.

We are here to help
Our organization has been helping families since 2013. Our team of specialists has over 30 years of experience working with at-risk children and more than 10 years working in the home with parents. You’ll learn that parenting a child doesn't have to be overwhelming.
You'll receive our free Parent Training video and then choose one of the options for us to walk alongside you as you build your bridge from where you are to where you want to be.
When we first met to start the program, I am sure you read me and could tell I was not excited to start yet another program for my out-of-control kid. I did in fact believe, "ok, what kind of happy bullshit are we supposed to learn here." You see every other program wanted to focus on my daughter, dig up her past hurts, and overcome the issues with happy thoughts to win her over to behave. So yeah, I was not thrilled at all to be in your office to 'learn how to parent better' via more happy thought programming. READ MORE
I would urge other parents with troubled kids to consider this program. Most other consultants and therapists focus only on the child and not the parents. It is too much and in my opinion unfair to the child to put the focus only on the child and their behavior. Success comes when the family as a whole works together to overcome the trauma of the past. Most parents want to do their best and get the best help for their kids but by not having the right tools they are actually in a downward spiral that too many times only leads to tragedy. READ MORE
If someone told me that my children would accept a no, say "yes, mom" when directed, and sit quietly and calmly for activity, I would've laughed in their face.
